Dissecting Landmark

The Me & You prompt for today is "L is for Landmark".  I went for the most obvious landmark in Knoxville, the Sunsphere.  I did think of using another image but ended up with the classic landmark.  Here are the steps I took to get my finished image.

And there you have it, Landmark!  Do you like to shoot and edit with your phone?  Then this is the place for you!  Hope to see you there.

A Year Ago and Today, January 3rd

Here she is, at the drawing table, a year ago and today.  It's been fun to see her go from experimenting without cause to drawing this or that with precise movements {or kind of precise}.  You can see, she sometimes gets quite serious about her small detail work.

I also see that this collage to the left was one of my first ones using the little pieces of tape and I haven't reworked any of the images.  That's one reason I like this project - it makes me pull images from the archives to rework them.

Off to draw!

Playing house is still a daily affair.  She like others to play and "grab a doll" with her but I can walk into a room and see her playing and imagining all by herself.  She doesn't usually decorate the house or change it up very much but I do hear her say "Ding-Dong!" and "Come on in!" often.  She loves visitors.
